Synopsis
A suspenseful thriller BASED ON A TRUE STORY.
Wayne Stracton (Peter Strauss), an unscrupulous psycopathic criminal, kidnaps the teenage Julie Burdock (Samantha Mathis) and buries her alive in a special capsule that within 83 hours will become her tomb. He damands half a million dollars from her father and gives him detailed instructions on how to deliver the money.
Meanwhile, the FBI frantically tries to locate Julie, knowing that the kidnapper won’t care for her after he’s received the money and even less if he doesn’t. Julie’s father (Robert Urich), knowing the conditions of his daughter’s incarceration, faces the reality of trusting his own instincts and paying the ransom or putting his faith in the FBI.
